Here are five Xander fics that play in the shadows of the Buffy ‘verse. These are all dark and delicious and make me go ‘eeeeeek....’
Red Apple Falls by_dellamore makes me want to go hide under the bed. Bodies are stacking up all over Sunnydale. The Scoobies think they know who’s responsible, but only Xander knows why. It’s amazing what can happen when love becomes obsession. Make sure you read this with the light on.

I’m a Spander girl, but I also love seeing Xander in other combinations, so here are five stories that I adored in 2010 with Xander and a variety of other people who are not Spike! I may have to lie down after typing that.
Rare B-Sides bycrazydiamondsue is lovely, tantalizingly almost Xander/Giles. It’s got perfect dialogue and the most wonderful pop culture references.

anxiety-junkie.livejournal.comI'll be honest – I hate WIPs. I hate them with a passion. But it seems like the best fics never get finished, so I'm stuck with a lot of them, in all my fandoms. So here are my favorites in the Whedonverse! NOTE: Assume all of these are NC-17. You have been warned. *g*

This is probably my favorite Firefly series ever. It's terrifically in character, with just enough snark to balance out the enormous angst of the whole thing. The boys are in love but they're not talking, of course; but fortunately events conspire against them. Niska is even in it, which is great because I always liked him. And the second to last chapter has some of the most gorgeous M/S pr0n I've ever read.
