These are the six of my fave emotional Xander sets done in 2006 but not by order:

So much love for this scene. Not only that Xander and Buffy got to make up after the mess of Empty Places, but it also shows how much the two of them believe in the other and trusts the other. I see them as nothing more than brother and sister who do all they could to make Dawn happy.

This moment when Xander gets Angel to lead him to The Master to save Buffy is more heroic in my eyes than Xander actually saving Buffy by CPR.

Xander had never realized how much he loved Cordelia until he lost her. I loved when his eyes teared up for her. Xander never tears up until something big happens and that shows how much he cared about Cordelia and he hadn't realized that until he lost her.

I think this set speaks for itself. It's honestly one of my favorite Xander-Spike sets. Season four is the season of humiliation and outsider-ness for both Xander and Spike. It's actually the easiest season to make them friends or a couple.

Even though I HATE this episode, this scene is my all time FAVORITE Xander/Willow scene. These two had been through so much and in the end they're always there for each other.
I HAD to add this one:

Awww. Xander who had always whined about how useless he was compared to the others finally accepted his place in the group and that shows a lot of maturity. It's one of the reasons he's so good to Dawn as a big brother or maybe a father-figure. He did play a role of a father in S7.
