The 5 that sucked me in!

One day way back when I made the mistake of clicking on a link to Buffy fan fiction. I'd been a fan for several years by that point, but I'd never really gotten into fic. I was hooked... These are some of the stories that sucked me into the wacky world of fan fiction. If I hadn't discovered them I would have gotten so much more accomplished over the course of the last few of years!

One day way back when I made the mistake of clicking on a link to Buffy fan fiction. I'd been a fan for several years by that point, but I'd never really gotten into fic. I was hooked... These are some of the stories that sucked me into the wacky world of fan fiction. If I hadn't discovered them I would have gotten so much more accomplished over the course of the last few of years!

Top Five Classic Slash Fics

1- Cuckoo in the Nest by liz_marcs

Wow, this fic takes us inside the head of Xander's father: Tony Harris. We get to see Xander's life and the events of canon through the eyes of his father. New idea of a fic, amazing characterization, amazing plotting. I especially liked how she made Tony look like a person and not like how many portray him as Mr. Evil Rapist.

5 vids, Keeping the Dream Alive

Good vids, like good drabbles, pack a world of meaning and interpretation into a short time (or 100 words). They're a successful marriage of words, music, and clips capturing the essence of a moment, a relationship, or emotions - often all three.

Here's my selection of vids that do all that.

1. Keeping the Dream Alive - made for me by stir_of_echoes and sums up why we're all still here.

2Goodbye my lover by stir_of_echoes – one that still makes me cry.

3.Desperado - by spikelover. The stormy relationship of Buffy and Spike.

4.Look at me I’m the Devil in Blue by spikeylover. The transformation from shy Texan girl to something entirely different.

5.Breaking the Habit - by defeduck Another stormy relationship. This time it's Angel and Spike with tons of footage from Destiny and probably my all-time favourite AtS 5 episode. I saw it for the first time at Halloween Con 2004. Scroll down the page, it's second from the bottom.

Now, onto the fics themselves.  Often I'm an equal opportunist as far as pairings go.  But sometimes, I need a fic with a kitten in it.  It's required.  So here, these are 5 of my favorite kitten fics.
