Short But Sweet: Five Classic One-Shots

Sometimes you don't have time to read a lengthy, multi-chapter fic. But that doesn't mean you want to skimp on quality. The following five stories give you all the pleasure in less than half the time:



With the exception of the first story, these are all for adults only.

1) Quit Moaning (PG-13) by faythbrady: Spillow-y fluff doesn't come much cuter and funnier than this nifty take on the aftermath of Something Blue.

2) She Could Love Him (NC-17) by lilbreck: I don't normally read Cordelia/Xander, but this PWP somehow manages to be so much more than you would think a PWP could be, using sex to say more about Cordelia than you'd ever believe possible. This one's a real corker.

3) Last One Standing (NC-17) by kallie_kat: If you're all grown-up and looking for something truly dark in the way of a fic experience, you won't find anything much darker than this Willow/Angelus classic.

4) Beauty and the Beast (NC-17) by sexymermaid: A very strongly sexual tale of Angel and Fred in Pylea with some Fred/Cordy elements as well. sexymermaid is usually known for longer tales but proves she can pack a lot of story in a small package quite handily here.

5) Worth It (NC-17) by emnorth: Easily one of the most powerful Willow/Angel stories ever. It picks up at the end of the AtS episode Reprise and takes us on Angel's search for meaning, a search that takes him back to Sunnydale . . . and Willow. This is a superb story. Short, but utterly compelling.
