Wrong Number by TheFoxinator aka [livejournal.com profile] foxstarreh (Harmony's POV, but it's all about Cordelia, G). The day after Cordelia's death, Harmony and Angel struggle to make sure all of her friends know.

Post-Chosen, Giles and Olivia meet and talk about then and now. The conversation goes in a direction that is not what Giles expected. As usual with shapinglight’s work, the characters are realistic and the dialogue is searing and brilliant.

Favourite characters in varied pairings

Fics I loved which I haven't seen recc'ed yet, but oh, for a linking theme... it's mainly Giles in a number of guises, but one Darla-fic sneaked in. My favourite characters being written well, in relationships of varying states of happiness and snark: a joy.

[livejournal.com profile] wesleysgirl, Life is What Happens When You're Making Other Plans, very, very sweet human AU, Giles/Wesley in their cautious, repressed selves. Not a vampire in sight, but a great deal of bookbinding talk, which is utterly in character.
