Freedom: Both sexy and emotionally engaging, this is a wonderful tale of what happens when Spike and Willow find that what they really need is each other.
Not in Plain Sight: While I am normally no fan of either Spike/Tara fic or historical AU's, this luscious (and VERY sexy) tale of two siblings falling in love with each other in Victorian England quickly became one of my favorites. Not for everyone (after all, it is an incest fic), it certainly pushes my buttons and I am waiting breathlessly for Feen to update!
Seven Minutes in Heaven: Teacher!Spike/Student!Willow and lots of yummy smut! Plus, the characters are well drawn and far truer to their canon counterparts than one usually finds in human!AU fics. This one's a corker!
Little Brother: More human AU smutty fun! This time the incest is not actually incest, but the kink is still there. Feen writes Spike and Willow beautifully and this story is as emotional as it is sensual!
Masks: Yes, Feen wrote a fair amount of incestuous fic this year, and this is another example. This one is for the slash fans: Uber hot Spilliam porn! Once again, the smut is balanced by some lovely characterization and involving emotional moments. Feen is one of only two human!AU authors I will always read and this fic (and the three other AU's above) amply illustrate why!
purplefeen is absolutely one of the best authors in all fanfiction! I cannot recommend her work highly enough! If you like your sex hot and well written, but also need to connect emotionally with the characters, no one does erotica better than purplefeen!!!
