chrisleeoctaves - All – A lovely look at the post-Prom hours between Buffy and Angel from Angel’s POV, which we never really get as much of in the series (at least until AtS). Wonderful insights.
2. The Dangers of Desert Driving - by
bookishwench - All – Spike and Dru pick up a familiar hitchhiker. I found the voices in this to be quite amusing, and it had some nice surprises.
3. I Sing the Body Electric by
fairy_tale_echo - All – Post NFA, Wes may be gone but is not forgotten, as the survivors visit his apartment.
4. The Ghosts of Saturday Night by Sophia Jirafe - R – Spike spends the evening with three women but not the way he wants. I really enjoyed this Spike POV, I thought it captured him really well and had some unexpected moments.
5. Someone’s Mother - by
glossing - R – Post S2, Joyce needs to find something to make her forget she’s a mother whose child is gone. I really enjoyed getting into her head, and reading this made me realize what an underwritten character she is. It was also an interesting look at Oz who remains as ever to me, a cypher. I thought this interwove itself so easily into the empty canon spaces you could believe it had happened.
