Top Five BtVS/AtS Fics That I Dug My Head Out of Supernatural Fandom to Read

Some of these are new, some were just new to me.

1. All Ways by kita0610 - Spike/Buffy/Angel - NC17 -
Why I Chose This: It's no secret that B/S/A is my "OTP" and this fic crystallizes exactly why.

2. The Confessional by tkp - R, for language and some images - Faith, Angel - This is not a shippy fic. B/A and A/S are explicitly referenced; many others are hinted at. Summary: Angel visits Faith in prison. Takes places between AtS S1 & 2.
Why I Chose This: This story gives some of the best and most achingly brutal, real Faith characterization I've ever read.

3. Sweet Tart by crazydiamondsue - Faith/Willow - NC17 - FitB - Post AtS “Orpheus”, just prior to BtVS “Dirty Girls.”
Why I Chose This: Flows into canon amazingly well. Excellent characterization.

4. Stick Shift Redux by stultiloquentia - Spike/Buffy - NC17 - Summary: Buffy stakes herself a vampire.
Why I Chose This: Hello, MY KINKS. Also smart, lyrical, well-characterized. Introspective in an awesome, smutty way.

5. On the Rocks by frimfram - Spike/Angel - NC17 - Post-NFA
Why I Chose This: Amazing descriptions and scenery. Hot, with some ow, and a subtle dose of history.
