My Top 5 Old School Wesley-slash Recs

buffyversetop5When my recs lists for the community's throw-back project started to take shape and I saw how much I actually love it when authors slash Wesley with, just about, any/every one in the BtVS/AtS verse, I was shocked. Anyway, The following are must-read m/m slash fics involving Wesley Wyndham-Pryce.
1. Just Dinner & a Movie By Wyrdchaos (Wesley/Xander)
Wesley and Xander on their first date after a surprisingly hot night (expounded on in Reprieve, also by Wyrd). I swear, the confrontation scenes with Angel's gang are as hilariosly written and well-captured as the expected fumblings and foibles of our two heroes.
2. Wesley, Rogue Demon by Gila & Mad Poetess (Wesley/Gunn)
A cute story about Wesley finding the best way to be himself, which, incidentally, isn't human.

Here there be hyppogriffs. No, really. Angel is a vampire king with a son who gets thrown into a marriage of convenience/position with Wesley, who is trained to be every man's stepford husband. It's sweet, angsty and hot all at the same time. Too bad it was left unfinished, but at a whopping 40ish chapters, I don't really feel like I can complain all that much. Besides, she still drabbled in this verse every few months or so until a while ago, so here's hoping that the muse still strikes from time to time.
4. Reality Bends to Desire byflaming_muse as Spike & wesleysgirl as Wesley (Wesley/Spike RPG)
Wesley is the first to find out about the mind-wipe in an alternate AtS Season 5 setting and guess who helps him muddle through his issues? Basically, this RPG should have been called "Angst, smokin hot sex and even more bloody angsty sex", but I truly salivated for every luscious post and was distraught when it was over.

Any fic that has Wesley smoking weed and Angel tooling around on a swing-set is just too damned adorable and schmoopy to miss. Seriously, this is another one that always brings a dopey smile to my face :-)
