Why I chose this: Aside from the fact that they're both looking rather gorgeous, I love the starkness of the black and white photos. I also think the pictures capture some of the qualities of the pairing - Spike's passive aggressivenes, Xander's indifference which can turn to interest. Very striking work.

Why I chose this: Some hilarious icons here, that cover a range of seasonsal Spander moments. I thought the choice of text was particularly effective on the second link, plus also some neat colouring effects.

Why I chose this: One of the most memorable stories I read this year, I love the slow build of this fic. To me it seems to capture what makes the 'ship tick, how they find and discover the qualities in each other that spark each other's interest. Very memorable.

Why I chose this: This is one of those rare fics that once you pick up you'll find yourself at 3AM still reading and thoroughly enjoying. An action-packed narrative and an intense psychological drama play out against a backdrop of early AtS Season 5. Highly addictive.

Why I chose this: Short and succinct, this fic really packs a punch. What I enjoyed most about it was how the author compared and contrasted Xander and Spike against each other in only a short space of time. Wonderful imagery too.
