1- The Approved Mode of Payback and its sequal Blue-Eyed Boy by
herself_nyc: Spike and Illyria are the sole survivors of the battle against The Circle of The Black Thorn. Half in despair, mourning Angel, Spike isn't ready for the appearance of a drastically altered Xander in Los Angeles.
2- Drowning Not Waving by
reremouse and
tabaqui: This is a story in which Xander's not being the best he can be. It's human horror. Dare we say it ?- it's dark. There's graphic sex and drugs and addiction, cowardice, the porn industry and people behaving badly, blind eyes and Xander exploitation and enabling, good intentions, funny moments, tragedy, a chip and a baby. And almost everybody lives happily ever after in the last chapter.
3- Sock Puppet by
shadowcast: A couple of years post-NFA, Xander is living a very ordinary life in L.A.. He has a job, an apartment, a boyfriend. However, the arrival of a figure from his past (okay, who am I kidding—you all know it's Spike, right?) throws everything into question.
4- Toys by
lit_gal: When I first read the title I thought it was a mere PWP, but then I thought: That's Lit Gal, I'm sure it's great. And yes, it was! Clever use of Legos.
5- What Kind of Man by
altyronsmaker Xander buries one man, and loses another. Short and to the point, lovely writing, hard truths about Xander's character and poor Spike.
