Top 5 Spuffy Fics, yay!

So this is my top 5 list of Spuffy fics for 2005. I've tried not to list fics that I saw were already listed on this community.

I loves me some angst, so all of these stories will have that element. But rest assured that they're not the Spike-dies-and-never-comes-back type angst, because those? I just can't read. ::sniff::

Anaross (don't you just love her fics?) says this is an extremely fluffy fic, but I disagree a bit with that. This does have angsty elements in it. ::loves::

After the Dream by Jane (Post Chosen) WIP

4 years after Chosen, and the world is semi-safe again. Buffy Summers leads a normal life until another emergency brings her out of hiatus, and up against someone she never thought she’d see again.


This is a WIP and it might not ever be finished. ::weeps:: But it's still well worth reading.

Spike resurrects corporeally and Angel can’t take it anymore. He betrays his childe in the worst ways possible: by selling him out of the family into slavery.


Warning: This is a VERY dark fic. If you don't like mega angst and the suffering of Spike-shaped vampires in your fic, then don't read this. But, if you can make it through the tough parts, you'll see this is a tale of growth, redemption, and yes: Spuffy goodness.


I wasn't really sure when this fic was written, but the reviews at BSV were written in 2005, so I went with that. :)
