My last post for gen fics includes those that don't fall into the categories of my two previous categories - mainly just characters hanging out and talking.
Title: Open For Business
Author:
flurblewig
Rating: PG-13
Summary/Sample: Post-NFA. Faith, Connor and a little bit of Nina. It's about fighting and starting over. A houseful of Slayers - and the last time Faith had checked, that gig was supposed to come with a handy prophetic dream function - and the first clue they had that an honest-to-God apocalypse was going down in their old stomping ground was when they saw it on the fucking television. That was some seriously fucked-up shit, right there.
Title: The Dealing Thing.
Author:
calove
Rating: PG-13 for language, maybe?
Summary/Sample: Spike is in charge of escorting Dawn to a party between Btvs S5 and S6. Who doesn't love Spike-Dawn friendship?
Title: Of Awkwardness
Author:
mosca
Rating: PG
Summary/Sample: Giles and Anya hang out. Great characterization of both. Every so often, something in her manner would remind him that she was older than he, so much older that he could not conceive of it, and that his conception of twenty years as a lifetime ago only served to reveal the mereness of his mortality.
Title: Smoke and Memories
Author:
willowgreen
Rating: PG for language and drug references
Summary/Sample: During "Dirty Girls", Spike and Faith go to 7-Eleven while Giles and Dawn smoke up in a tent. I found it a really feel-good sort of fic.
Title: Indulge Me
Author:
lillianmorgan
Rating: PG for scariness!
Summary/Sample: Halloweeny fun with Spike and Dawn. “What would you do if you were a ghost, Spike?”
