Spreading the holiday cheer

First of all, a big thank you to the anonymous buffyversetop5 reader who gifted the community with paid time and icons. When I logged on to upload our nifty new banner (a gift from amavel_bel) I thought I was in the wrong account at first! Thank you for that lovely gesture.

Just a reminder to everyone that in less than 2 weeks, Top 5 will reopen for your 2006 rec lists. And speaking of surprise gifts, The Wish List is still open and there have already been various requests posted to it. So consider gifting someone there, or the community at large, with pointers to your favorite fan created goodies from this year.

To everyone reading, have a wonderful holiday, and come on by from December 30 to January 14, 2007 and celebrate another year in the fandom.

Thank you for asking! Yes indeed, katekat1010 made us some new ones for this year and they can be found here. All pimping is appreciated.

I regretted having to take down the Halloween one, I liked it so much. Having a snazzy new one eased that though :>

I wish I had news to pass on but unfortunately I haven't heard from her any more recently than anyone else seems to. Maybe with some free time around the holidays she'll pop by though?

I saw that. I enjoy time travel fics too. Your comment about a Giles/Ethan one made me think about how fun one could be if Buffy went back in time and discovered what Giles used to be like around her age. I daresay she got a glimpse in Band Candy but it would be a bit different to actually be confronted with the teeen or 20'ish Giles. Or Willow, for that matter, given she already had a bit of a crush on him.
