buffyversetop5This list became unexpectedly difficult when two of the five recs I had prepped ended up linking to deleted accounts! That seems a high percentage in less than a year?
1) Five People Whose Loan Applications Were Approved At Sunnydale Securities Bank (And One Whose Wasn't) by beer_good_foamy. "So how does Sunnydale… work, exactly? Well, it's a long and complex story of corruption and denial, but let's check in with one of the cogs that make the wheels spin. Remember the loan officer who turned Buffy down in "Flooded"...? Here's his Sunnydale story in six installments, occasionally interacting with the main storyline." The devil is in the details, alright.
2) Fireworks by gillo. "Spike and Buffy have settled down, and moved relatively recently to England, only to be hit hard by the mess that is 2020." Given the time period it seemed particularly fitting that Spike's mind would turn back in time as a result of the holiday, and reveal a world both much like and not much at all like Buffy's past.
3) Faith as Bodyswapped Buffy #19 by peaked. There was something about Buffy's expression that I think we all shared in 2020.
4) This was originally a post of several crocheted Buffy figures but at least I found Spike and Angel again. UPDATE: Found the set!
5) Holding life and death in our hands by ChronicBookworm brings over Martha Jones from Dr. Who to provide some obvious things for Faith as no one else did in S3.

And the crocheted Buffy figures. So cute! I think whichclothes had a knitted Spike years ago. I wrote some stories featuring the character but lost track of them.
