Are you guys getting tired of me yet? :D
This list is a sequel to my lists here and here, which were in turn inspired by the Fic Master List - Menstruation in the Buffyverse by ClawofCat. This one's mostly, but not entirely, Spuffy smut.
(1) Oddments of Bygone Times by OffYourBird (Spike/Buffy, explicit, 22,507 words)
Alternative link (Elysian Fields).
In this first story, Buffy's period helps highlight how the relationship between Spike and Buffy has changed since BtVS canon and how they navigate these changes and build trust. (Yes, it's a smut scene. \o/)
The scene in question is in chapter 6. I think there's enough context in the chapter that it would be possible to read it without the rest of the story, but why would you want to? The whole story is lovely.
(2) Headache by Sunalso (Spike/Buffy, explicit, 594 words)
This ficlet is set in School Hard. Sunalso made the subtext text. <3
(3) A White (and Red) Christmas by Sunalso (Spike/Buffy, explicit, ~5K words)
Sunalso is a medical professional. This festive oneshot touches on the issue of calling menstrual blood "blood" when technically it isn't. But mostly, it's Spuffy having a fabulous time (and then Angel having a bad time, in a separate scene).
(4) An Experiment by joycometh (Spike/Buffy, explicit, 1388 words)
Alternative link (Elysian Fields).
This story is tagged "ruining menstruation kink", and it's delightfully entertaining, especially against the backdrop of stories like the previous three.
(5) Blood Moon by GhostDetective (Tara/Willow, G, 100w)
And now for something completely different: this is a shorter and simpler story (inasmuch as hitting 100 words exactly can be considered simple), but it's sweet and gentle, and I really wanted to include it for variety. As far as I'm aware, it's fairly rare that a shippy story focused on menstruation depicts it as something other than a kink.
