Zugma, better known as [livejournal.com profile] ughlybusiness on lj is one of my all time favorite Buffyverse digital artists. Her work is of a professional standard and beautifully done. She manages to display such powerful emotions in all her works and her use of light and colour just astounding. Here's my top five choices of her artworks..

1)I want the fire back. http://i13.tinypic.com/2ccmscn.jpg

2)A fairly dull tale. http://www.misplaced.co.uk/uglybusiness/other/afairlydulltale_scroll.jpg
(I just couldn't upload this one, so have added this link to her site as it's too good to leave out.

3)See the world. http://i13.tinypic.com/2m69xtu.jpg

4)A good bad man http://i13.tinypic.com/2uzbdx1.jpg

Wow, these are all so amazing. I'd seen Fire Back which I think is probably the most amazing Spuffy ever, but See the World is such a metaphor for ATS 5 and Buffy going off on her own. I just love all her work!

That first one just took my breath away. Wow.

Ooh, so glad you linked to the second one as well. I have one of those done for OMWF but I can't remember what they're called -- they're designed to scroll by?

The third is gorgeously romantic. Wonderful stuff!

Zugma's art is truly amazing!
But, please, correct her name in the post - it's Zugma (with "g"), not Zuma. :)

Those are stunning. I'd seen the first one before but the rest are new to me and I'm very grateful to you for pointing them out. Thanks.

I'm watching this community, but somehow managed to miss this post (shame on me and thanks to [livejournal.com profile] moscow_watcher for pointing that out!). Aw, Sue, I am so very, very touched and honoured that you chose my work for your recs, honey. I've told it before - but I do value a lot your opinion on my work, so all these compliments, coming from you, are incredibly falttering. Thank you!

And thanks so much to everyone who commented! Reading this thread just totally made my night :)

Just came across this post as I'm I'm trying to catch up on a month away from LJ and got totally caught up at Top 5.

I, too, find Zugma's work just riveting. I enjoy everything she does, and in my (very humble) opinion I Want the Fire Back is the best piece of fan art I've ever seen.

Great post of recs. Our fandom is truly blessed with some amazing artists - including you! :-)
