5 Unusual Pairings

ijemanja's Her Beauty and Her Terror does what I would have thought impossible. It pairs up Wednesday Addams with Harmony Kendall. Really. And it's quite believable too.

It'sbeen a while since I've read rebelrsr's Forging Bonds. It pairs Tara and Faith in a sub/dom world where Tara's the dom. This is an excellent story. I like the writing. I like the characterizations. Great conflict with both good guys and bad guys.

Next up, my story The Letters (the 84, Charing Cross Road remix) features Anya and Snape's business relationship / budding romance in a series of letters, e-mails and wedding invitations.

in deird1's Manufacture, Kryton of Red Dwarf gets a robot girlfriend. It's short and I won't say sweet because it's obviously not going to go well, but what else would you expect in the Red Dwarf verse? 

While I was browsing around, I stumbled across pushingcrazies' Moving On, Forward (Come in Lost Soul). While fleeing to Mexico, Jonathan and Andrew are rescued from immanent death, from a vamp not Willow, by Wesley. They end up in LA in a fix-it story for S4 of AtS. The pairing, which I haven't gotten to yet, is Jonathan with Phantom Dennis. So far the writing is excellent.

If you like Manufacture you might like Shayne Terry's Legend, A Star Trek: TNG crossover which is primarily a Buffy story but has quite a lot of Buffybot / Data in it.

Late to this party, but going through the rec lists here. The Wednesday Addams one was inspired but I also really liked the fact that there was a Red Dwarf crossover, even if it was short. Thanks for putting the list together!

Your comment sent me to AO3 to find other BtVS and Red Dwarf crossovers. There are 10 but most of them are crossovers with a good dozen, or more!, different fandoms. ;-)
