buffyversetop5These works may or may not have been posted in 2018 but they were all nominated for the 2018 Headline Awards which celebrates the works of Anthony Head, the actor who played Giles. And that last bit probably goes without saying. If you have any favorite works featuring Giles, I'm certain GilesCandy would love to see you nominate for the Headline Awards.
Of course I can't say these are the best works nominated for the Headline Awards because there are too many great works to pick from but these are all works that spoke to me.
1. GilesCandy's video Hallelujah.She picked images covering all the seasons that go so well with the song.
2. carlysutra's Believe It Or Not (The Courtship of Rupert Giles remix) has Rupert falling for his father's Slayer. It's a delightful romance and I adore her. Veronique is a great character and I can see why Rupert fell for her.
3. Kristina's All Set Down. Eee, I don't want to say to much and give it away but it's a fantastic AU set during and after The Gift.
4. HumbleQuill's I Miss the Misery focuses on the SM aspects of Giles/Ethan. Another delightful video that just nails it.
5. Part of the reason I adore caz's image of Giles and Ethan is that it's a reference to the fantastic fanfic Of Old Mystics. The fox and badger, which they buy for each other in the story, are such a delightful touch.
