5 of my favorite icons part 1: Whedon Elite

I wanted to do an icon post inspired by kikimay's post one year ago but found it impossible to narrow the hundred of icons I've seen this year to just five, so I decided in the interest of fairness - and spreading the love to as many talented folks as I could - to divide the posts up by icontests. This first one is for whedon_elite The icons are listed in alphabetical order of artist's name (not preference).




1) Faith 5x5 (brighter version) by double_dutchess for Challenge 123 (July)


2) Illyria #1 by julie_izumi for Challenge 112 (March) 


3) Beneath You (Spuffy) by sandy_s for Challenge 128  
In fairness this entire post could have been five icons from this challenge alone.


4) Eskimo Willow by xclaire_delunex for Challenge 133 (Dec) 
This one is also a tiny "cheat" in that it was an alt rather than an entry.

5) Tara Family Golden Glow by xlittledreams for Challenge 115 (April)

You're very welcome! This icon was an easy pick - when I thought about the icons I remembered from the year (without having to look or be prompted) this was one of the first ones I thought of. Although it gave me an excuse to go back and visit the entire set which is incredibly pretty. (like I needed an excuse? not really)
