Here are 5 more amazingly fab stories starring Willow.

1) Home is Where Your Heart Is (Willow, Xander, Sheila, Ira) by sandy_s: Another Spuffy legend tries her hand at Willow and once again does it exceedingly well. sandy_s gives us Willow's last visit with her parents but she also gives us a lovely evocation of the enduring friendship of Willow and Xander. A twofer that's twice as nice for that. This one has a core of sadness and resignation that really resonates. Oh, this one was written for whichwillow, as are the next two (and The Killer in Me, from my earlier list). That fest really inspires wonderful stories.



2) My Heart the Red Sun, Your Heart the Moon Clouded (Willow/Kennedy) by punch_kicker15: Wow. A story about Willow saving Fred... where the rescue is secondary to a very sympathetic and unusual look at the relationship between Willow and Kennedy. This author takes a huge risk with that approach - and it works! A story Kennedy fans will love and Kennedy haters might well find themselves thinking deep thoughts about.

3) Lost in the Darkness (Willow/Buffy) by spikesredqueen: Another story that takes an unexpected tack. It starts after a surprising sexual encounter between Willow and Buffy in Season 6, focusing on Buffy's emptiness and pain and leading to the two women sharing the anguish they each carry and reaching for daylight... only to stumble into... Well, I won't reveal the ending, except to say that some mistakes are sadly inevitable.

4) Caretaking (Willow/Kendra) by brutti_ma_buoni: This author's small works are always special, utterly complete, and intriguing. This one is no exception, as we watch two people having what starts off as a deceptively ordinary day in a world which is anything but ordinary. This one is subtle but powerful.

5) Custody (Willow, Gunn, Andrew, Amy, Bruce x-over with Judging Amy) by hermione2be: Okay, this is a little bit of a cheat because Willow is more of a part of an ensemble than a leading player, but I had to give a shout out to one of the few crossovers out there with a fandom I actually know and that resulted in a story I love and think is delightful. It's a very amusing tale of what happens when some Sunnydale veterans find themselves seeking custody of a girl in Judge Amy's courtroom. Those of you familiar with Judging Amy are sure to enjoy it as much as I did.

Okay, how did I not see this before now?! You are too kind to me! I am so happy that you liked my Willow fic. Means a lot given that you're one of the best Willow writers! *hugs* Thank you for encouraging me to try my hand at writing her. I admit that I went into it with some trepidation...and thinking oh no, what did Gabrielle get me into? lol But it turned out to be quite fun! So thank you!

PS I really need another Willow icon besides this one...lol.
