Amazing trailer which makes me want to see the movie... which, of course, doesn't exist. WHYYYYYYY?! Is there at least a fic? Anyone?

Buffy comes to stop Hannibal Lecter. And now I wonder how it would go, if Buffy in different stages of her life would met villain like that...

Letters from the sky by A Slayer In The TARDIS, Angel/Doctor Who crossover; Cordelia & The Doctor.
Cordelia becomes Doctor's companion. She would make an awesome companion, when you think about it. And just imagine her meeting Donna Noble... (Nope, that wasn't in the vid, sadly.)

Disillusioned by ImNaturallySuper. AtS/Doctor Who crossover; Angel & The 9th Doctor.
Another interesting option for Doctor's companion, that I never considered. What if Angel was ripped out of his Main Hero role and put into "sidekick with redemption arc" position again? (Would end well, yeah...)

Losing your memory by SunnydaleRehab2. Buffyverse/Supernatural crossover; Faith/Dean.
One of the very rare examples where you can get the storyline of shippy crossover vid without reading its summary.

I love the Angel/Ninth crossover! And the Buffy/Hanni one is inspired by a set of gifsets made by spaceslayer on Tumblr. It's so cool! XD

Birth was terrific, I hadn't seen that one before! It feels very much like a mini-movie (or an extended trailer).

Losing Your Memory reminds me of one of my favorite Buffy/Dean videos, Please Don't Go

(I honestly deduct points when I need a great long explanation to understand a fanvid, to be honest. Unless we're talking something meta like Bachelorette or Origins.)

Imo, meta vids shouldn't need long summaries either. If it needs, it's probably better to write an essay an illustrate it with screenshots/video fragments.

Point taken.

The creators of Origin Story (looking at racism and sexism in the Buffyverse via Nikki's leather duster as a starting point) wrote lengthy essays to go with, which I found fascinating; but which also clarified their POV and intent (as they themselves admitted). When I actually watched the vid, I wouldn't have been sure if they meant to critique patriarchy or celebrate it judging the video on it's own.

But the conversation that was initiated was fascinating. I don't think there's a lot of that sort of thing going on anymore but that's just because the show has been off the air for so long, so that's to be expected.
