My Top 5 Fanvids for this year

I've come across some great BTVS & Angel fanvids over the years and this year has been no exception for some great videos. It's hard to chose just 5.

My top 5 include:
Spike/darkwillow
Angelus/Willow
Spike alone
Giles/Drusilla
Team Angel (season 5) Mostly features Spike.

Here is a wonderful season 2 AU by rbfvid it's so good it opened my mind to the idea of a Giles/Dru pairing and even provided inspiration for my first Giles/Dru drabble.

double_dutchess Did something I haven't seen before. Mixing a Dutch legend with the Angel verse. Really well edited and great story telling. You don't need to be familiar with the legend to enjoy the video but some background information is helpfully provided.

Spike Against Satanklaas

Description: Spike and the Angel team take on Sinterklaas, who is basically the Dutch version of Santa Claus (but in the vid he's really a demon).

Description: Angelus the Master of Los Angeles is slayed by Buffy before she moves to Sunnydale. A spell gone wrong leads to Willow accidentally resurrecting him. Drusilla has a vision of his return and with the help of Spike they restore him to full strength. The shy witch is shocked to discover her new friend is a vampire slayer. Unaware of just who Angelus is Willow begins a relationship with the vampire. Events unfold leading Buffy to discover his return and Willow the truth of his identity.

Thank you so much for the rec! I'm truly amazed (and chuffed) that so many people like my Satanklaas vid, given that the topic and song must seem really obscure to any non-Dutch person.

Of course I know and love rbfvid's vids, but I didn't know the two Willow ones, so thank you for pointing them out to me! Both are very creative in their re-use of the original video material.

It was a nice touch adding the background info to go with the video. I had no knowledge of the story before seeing the post and I wasn't sure what to expect when I clicked play but I really enjoyed it. thank you for sharing!
