After last year's Top 5, I decided I'd keep track of stories I liked so I'd have tons of choices when making my list. I October, when I was going through my list of fanfic faves, I found I had enough for one set of five stories written in 2015. Since then I've come up with another seven. I have to conclude I could have been paying better attention in the earlier part of 2014. For example, I just reread aadler's Maxima Culpa, and that totally would have been on my rec list if I'd been paying more attention.
1) Rahirah's Black Friday. I personally can't imagine shopping on Black Friday but Spike and Buffy do seem made for it.
2) Baudown's Hands because I'm a big softie when it comes to Spander. *grin*
3) Ash Carpenter's Illusions in which a bartender overhears Spike and Angel and completely misinterprets what they're talking about. Quite amusing. And apparently that version of the story is friend locked; if you can't get to it, try this version that aadler was gracious enough to hunt down.
4) Brutti Ma Buoni's The Most Wonderful Time of the Year. Oh, wow. This. This this this. I don't want to give anything away. Just go read it.
5) NL Rummi's Geometry of Chance which just goes to show that Ethan can be as sentimental as the next guy. Quite the delightful story. Another one you should run off and read right now.
6) And - oops - since my third entry is locked, Snogged's Identity Theft in which Faith changes place with someone other than Buffy.
