Okay, I'm pretty sure I've read Bit Parts before but I did just rediscover it.

1. Wolfling's and Wesleysgirl's All the Wrong Places. I've only read Part 1 so far but it is delightful. Doyle's trapped in a computer, about three years after he's died, talking or e-mailing actually with Wesley.

2. Glossing's Theses on a Philosophy of Power is set during the Bolshevik Revolution and the Slayer's a Red. Big time. Brilliant.

3. Dolye's Bulletproof: In the Wishverse, Andrew is a white hat.

4. Who was that mysterious goth chick, and how did Spike convince her to come to the wedding with him? In Bit Parts, Mint Witch takes that question and runs with it, fleshing this character out into a very interesting person. Read this. Really. I'm on part 3 and it just keeps getting better.

5. Nwhepcat's Annunciation. Willow, Faith, a museum. What could be more natural?

6. Okay, bonus sixth because I've just started this and it's delightful. Back Before Dawn by Annakovsky. What if Seasons 5-7 were all the fault of a vengeance demon and a thoughtless Willow?

Ok, now we are officially soulmates - these all are may faves, too. Except for the first one, that isn't my fave for the only reason that I haven't read it. Yet.

So nice again to see older authors mentioned because younger fans may not know about them. Thanks for posting.
