These were adorable - except that VW/VT one which is so wonderful in just the few teaser pages I can't wait to dive into the rest! (yet another reminder that the "buffy comics" did NOT have to suck, and they did NOT have to be ugly *sigh*)

That was pretty much my reaction, too. The only flaw of this graphic novel is that it eventually ends and there is no sequel...

I actually looked on their homepage for a sequel - they have a lot of traditional stories (text) but that seems almost too conventional after the yumminess of that graphic novel - I wanted more of that, which is fairly unique or at least to my experience.

BTW - the choice of Faith as Slayer was interesting; she suffers like, a LOT; but she's also kind of irritating. I LOL'd when whateverhisname sighed in the bar "I miss the blond one".

I'm assuming in this version of the wish verse the Master did kill Buffy but there's no Anya, no amulet, so no end to the reign of terror.
