Some of my favorite ghost stories, mostly not scary and Spike-centric.
Any bad English and awkward phrasing in summaries is mine and shouldn't be blamed on fic authors.

What Happens In Vegas (Buffy/Spike, R) by rahirah. Buffy, Spike and haunted honeymoon suite. Absolutely perfect horror fluff (and even more perfect Buffy's voice).


And Still You Were by deird1 (Phantom Dennis, OFC, PG) - Phantom Dennis has a new roommate, and that's very very sad...

Company in Hell by Glassdarkly aka shapinglight (Spike, OC, R). The only scary story in this list. Remember that medium whom Pavayne killed while she was trying to contact Spike? What makes you think she went peacefully away after she died?

Reality Stops at the Checkpoint by frimfram (Spike/Drusilla, Fred, PG-13) Chapter 1, Chapter 2, Chapter 3. It's Halloween, and Fred wants to hear a ghost story. Spike recalls an encounter with a ghost in Cambridge in 1912.

Dixie Drug Store by yin again (Spike/OMC, NC-17). When Drusilla breaks up with him, Spike goes to New Orleans and has an interesting encounter of PWP kind.

I didn't get it - the switching PoV - until the second read through and then I thought it was nice. But an hour later I had to go back and read it again and now I think it's absolutely brilliant! Thanks for the great rec.

Glad you loved them, too. And I had similar experience with deidr1's fic, going from "such a nice story" to "wow!"
