I tend to go for stories where the victim's/slaves'/whatever-you-want-to-call-it thought-patterns are being changed; largely, I think, because there is a parallel to how we are molded by job/society. However, not all of these are dark.
But ... not worksafe. None of them. Don't even think of opening them at the office unless you work at this place (see last strip).
Edited: I now know where the last story is.
1) Ash Carpenter's The Show: Angel, to better infiltrate the Black Thorn, presents Spike as his slave. This one is very dark.
2) Eboniorchid's Good Kitty: Faith / mystery woman. Another very dark one
It wasn't supposed to be like this. She was the slayer- … a slayer- … and she was fucking Faith Lehane. Since when did that mean being chained … naked … on her knees … on the floor … in the dark? She should be in bed, but this was all far too real to be a dream and she shouted, struggling in her bonds.
3) Subtle Salvation's Cat's Cradle: After the Initiative messed Spike up real bad, Xander's left taking care of him.
4) Kay Grr's Angst Monkey: Because a dying Xander will be essential to fight off a demon hoard, Angel turns him but, in order to control Xander more easily, Angel turns him into an Abject, a vampire wholly devoted to his Sire. It's a bit slow in the beginning but uses conflict well towards the end and has some awesome sex scenes between Angel, Xander, and Spike.
5) Velvet Whip's Untitled for Tonya: Willow/Angelus/Spike. Another dark one.
How many ways could she be taken?
Willow had long since stopped trying to understand what was happening to her or what she felt at any given moment. It was all such a confused and terrifying blur.
