Seven years is one of my all-time favorites. I'll live with you all in denial that someday it will be updated and maybe even gasp! finished.

I consider When Darkness Falls as 'indefinitely delayed' rather than abandoned. I really do intend to finish it (I'm Laward). But I feel terribly embarrassed saying that because I don't know when I'll have time to finish, and I haven't updated in years. It feels weird saying I'm going to finish it because I can think of no reason why anyone would believe it. :)

I believe it. The reason? Because I really really want to believe it. I'd believe you if you said you were going to finish perfect vengence too, btw. Never knew you were the same person, but I enjoyed that one too, all your fics are well worth reading even if you never finish any of them.

Oh I intend to finish Perfect Vengence too. I have the next chapter written, I've just been unhappy with it and tinkering with it for a while.
