Often when you make requests, you get something amazing, but not always. ;-) Totally agreed that more good Joyce fic would be nice. I should probably make you a list of the things I've found over the years...

Maybe we can collate what we have and I can put a call out on my LJ requesting other recs? Of course finding mine amoung all my bookmarks is the challenge. I can only see two off the bat, although I know I have more:

I haven't read but a few chapters of The Menageaverse (http://archiveofourown.org/series/15267) or "Responsible Adults" because there are 60-plus parts to it, but it goes AU from S4 to the end of the series and the protagonists are Joyce, Giles and Ethan who have a menage-a-trois. In this 'verse Buffy is more of a supporting character. One of the better chapters (http://archiveofourown.org/works/426965) is a reworking of OMWF with Joyce and Ethan singing a duet; I think the lyrics are original, so it's a twist on "songfic" that actually works
