I keep seeing these lists popping up on my friendlist, and I figured, hey! I can participate too! Thus: actual participation!

Starting with, my Top 5 Favorite Vids.

My Life by Lynn
Song: So Far Away, by Staind
Characters: Spike, Buffy, Drusilla
Pairings: Spike/Buffy, Spike/Drusilla
Why It's Recced: I have the biggest love ever for this video. It so perfectly contrasts Spike/Dru and Spike/Buffy. The clips are nicely edited and the song works so very well.

One Last Time by Dualbunny
Song: One Last Time, by Veruca Salt
Characters: Spike, Buffy
Pairings: Spike/Buffy
Why It's Recced: This? Exactly Spuffy. I mean, exactly. Heavy emphasis on the angst. It's all fighting and dancing around each other and talking around each other and a frustrating, annoying, aaaack!-type of resolution that's not. I mean, the ending? Gah! So freaking Spuffy, it hurts. Watch the video. It's amazing quality, it's brilliantly edited, it's wonderfully heartbreaking.

Real by Here's Luck
Song: Twister, by Remy Zero
Characters: Spike, Buffy
Pairings: Spike/Buffy
Why It's Recced: My absolute favorite fan vid of all time, and the one I first saw. It's this wonderfully sort of told story that all stems from the line in Intervention, "What you did for me... that was real." Revolves around Spike and the getting of his soul, with a big emphasis on the impact Buffy's role plays.

Someday by Wolfing
Song: Someday, by Nickelback
Characters: Angel, Wesley
Pairings: N/A
Why It's Recced: Okay, I have a big ol' huge-type love for Wes and Angel. Not even necessarily in a 'shippy, slashy sort of way. I'm just completely fascinated by their relationship. And this perfectly sums it up. The good times, the I-stole-your-kid times. All of it. Some of the clips are a little distracting with the big WB promo stuff on it, but overall it's a great video.

Song: Vindicated, by Dashboard Confessional
Characters: Buffy and AtS Ensemble
Pairings: Buffy/Spike, Angel/Buffy, Angel/Cordelia
Why It's Recced: Ever wondered what a Buffy/AtS video would actually look like playing on MTV? Wonder no more, because this is pretty much that. I love this video, and it breaks my heart watching it every freaking time. I'm pretty sure the vidder is a Bangel fan, but the Spuffy stuff is wonderful and completely sigh-worthy. It's all about the Final Battles of both Chosen and NFA and what Buffy/Spike, Buffy/Angel, and Cordelia/Angel all meant to each other.

Okay, that was so SO HARD to narrow down. I've recced these before, in a much longer post, but these are my favorites.

I LOVE the "One Last Time" video. I think it's absolutely perfect--the song, the clips that were used, the transistions and effects. Everything about it gives me fangirlish joy. :)
