I love to read slash with all kinds of Broken!Slave!Xander, so here's a list of my, personal favourites. Be aware that these stories may contain any and/or all of the following warnings: Darkfic and the topics include rape, prostitution, mental/physical/sexual torture, kidnapping, drug use, allusions to child sex, angst, character deaths, slavery, suicide, mutilation and dismemberment of bodies (living and dead).


1. Merely a Possession Series (primarily X/OMCs & X/S) (Forced to His Knees, Road to Recovery, Lidsey's Angels) by TJ Goldstein - This is one DARK and SICK ride. Don't read this if you have any problems with a THOROUGHLY broken and bloody Xander (not to mention what the other characters have to go through). Trust me, the imagery and brutality of this fic will stay with you for ages. Be warned that I'm pretty sure that it's a perpetual WIP (the author hasn't updated in years) and that this is without a doubt, the darkest fic on this list...really, don't read it if you don't want to go to a very very very dark place.

2. SOLD (X/A) by Williej - Buffy and Willow accidentally put Xander up for sale at a Demon Auction and Angel has to ride to the rescue. This fic's is probably the lightest one on the list, with no really heavy non-con.

3.Nexus (X/A) by rakshathewolf - Buffy knew that Xander was once kidnapped by Angelus, but when that ordeal was all over, she never really pressed for details. Angelus gets loose and heads for Sunnydale again so Spike sits her down and tells her some things that might be of interest to her and her friends.

4. Broken!Slave fic (X/OCs X/S) (Beautiful Broken and Broken Revenge) by lit_gal - These fics are great and, yes, Xander is broken and will never be the same, but he's slowly being put together by a prickly Spike.

5. Unbreakable (X/OCs & X/S) by fanbot - Xander was kidnapped and sold into slavery for years. He survived the ordeal, but he's not exactly OK. He's chosen Spike to help him pick up the pieces.

That's actually kinda funny, cuz I'd say that #1 is a better read (if you don't close your browser from the squick, you'll be up all night because it's just THAT riveting) than the ones you've already read, but it's still much much darker. And #2 is waaay milder than either of those as far as any torture but thisone and #3 are X/A and have waaaay hotter sex scenes, so if you read outside of the S/X pairing, you should totally love them.

That one's probably a bit more my speed personally, but it's nice to see the variety of recs coming in!

Yeah, that one's the only one that can be called having a 'happy ending', but sometimes it's interesting to read a fic that just spirals out of control with darkness (#1, seriously not for the faint of heart).

As for reccing, I've been waiting for this community to open and I have a lot of specific little fic lists that I'm hoping people will add recs to each one because I'm the kind of person who likes to read fic by genre and I can't wait to be able to USE this community on days when I say "gee I want to read a [insert specific genre] fic today; let's see what's recced on BtVS top 5!".

Thanks very much for these. Again, not something I'm overly familiar with but there sounds like something for everyone in these. I particularly like the idea of #3, frankly Angelus capturing Xander is something I could definitely see happening, but Spike being the narrator could lead to all sorts of possibilities about truth and embellishment. ::goes off to read::

This fic won't disappoint, and if you don't trust me, you should have SEEN the amount of pimping and commentary for each chapter, it seemed like the WHOLE community was totally obsessed with it! The Spike narrative is pretty unobtrusive and small, but the sex stuff is BEYOND hot!

Brilliant, I've been indulging in my taste for slave fic all week (something about finals week y'know). I've read and loved the last three, and if it weren't for the fact that I have my last final tomorrow and I've barely studied I'm sure I'd be up all night reading the first two. I suppose I'll just have to wait another day or so.

Intriguing. I've never read any slave Xander fic. I might start off with the "Soft" fic to ease myself into it. ;)
