My Top 5 Darla icons

So I'm happy to present to you my five favourite Darla icons of 2005. These are all single character icons, because otherwise the posts would have grown exponentially with various groups *g* Listed alphabetically by icon-maker.



"Broken Girl" made by canadiangirl_86. Rating: All Quintessentially capturing those moments in AtS Season 2 when Darla was at her most poignant, at her weakest. It's actually extremely difficult to make Darla look damaged, broken or in any way less than powerful. I think this icon does a fascinating job of that, and I love the split and the interesting use of colours. Complete post found here.



"S is for Sire" made by crazedxinsanity. Rating: All. Part of a post of icons related to Becoming I and II and using the alphabet as the base, I really like the idea of this icon. The framing and the softness of it, belies what Darla really is. Complete post here.



"Ha Ha Ha" made by earth_vexer. Rating: All. This is Darla at her wicked best. The text is so simple yet so effective and I love the colour used on this too. Complete post found here.



"Darla Disguise" made by kathyh. Rating: All. I think it's rare for an icon with four smaller images to appear so clear and so eye-catching. And what's more four wonderful images of different Darla guises. Lovely colour use too. Complete post here.



"Darla" made by letsey_x Rating: All. I love the framing in this, you can imagine that Darla is just about to lead you away to some kind of debauched death. The scrolls around the bottom make a nice effect too. Complete post here.
