Top 5 encounters with fairy Spike in 2005

Since its still New Year's Eve here where I live, I thought a little romp with fairy Spike in keeping with the season. 5 encounters with wee 'Spike the fairy' in fic and art in 2005. Take a peek if you like.



1. Well, the blame for this late summer little menace can firmly be laid at sueworld2003's door step for creating this manip here. It was the face that launched a lot of fics and art. Work safe manip.

2. For some reason, there were a few spander fics with fairy Spike. Here was one of the first, a delightful one that was a collaboration of virtualpersonal and nashmaveric called A Spandery Fairy Tale NC 17 S/X. Status: complete.

3. Some of the most adorable fairy icons were done by fanbot. Here is one example here of fairy scoobies She's done more, including the ATS characters in fairy guise, so check her memories for those. Not all are work safe.

4. fanbot also did one of my favorite spander fairy stories with When Love is Voiced. NC-17 S/X with a nice and spicy little sex scene! Status: complete.

5. My very favorite manip of the fairy Spike period--and given how many there were and how delightful they all were, it was tough!--is by darkwaif. The Gardener and the Fairy S/X, NC 17, not work safe manip.

Ha, wonderful! The idea that spawned more snipey comments then anything else in recent fandom I believe! Especially as it was just a bit of harmless fun.

Little did I know what I was starting when I made that first manip!

Anyhoo, I still love the 'little guy' and these other 'friends of fairy Spike' that you've listed here, show he still has friends in 'high places'. :)

Sue, I've had so many requests to continue my spander fairy Spike story. More than anything else I write from readers in email. He was hugely popular little scamp with readers and people who enjoy having fun. ;)
