Something happened to Xander. He's broken, branded and lost. Can Spike find out who hurt him and help Xander find himself again?

fanbot's Unbreakable. Up every Wednesday for lucky readers. S/X. Unbreakable Xander is found a gladiator slave and rescued by Spike. Spike's gentle friendship is helping the haunted warrior heal. A very slow moving tender romance.

For a moment I thought I'd read the first story but then I realized I was confusing it with another Spike and Clem fic about how they first met, at a wedding for Spike's cousin. Which was a great take on canon I thought, but now I've forgotten where I saw it. I'm pretty sure I read it in this past year though.

That Clem/Spike is hilarious. It's not long. I think its one of the most delightful things I read this year. :)
