Top Five Missing Scenes in 2010
Jan. 13th, 2011 03:36 pm1) Campfire Story by
readerjane: If Christmas happened between Hush and A New Man, this is how Xander and Spike will spend it. Fantastic missing scene. I especially love how in character both of them are. I've always been attracted to the similarity between Xander and Spike, but the idiots won't allow themselves to bond over the billion things they have in common.
2) The Learning Curve by
il_mio_capitano: Immediately after Becoming Part 2. Giles receives a phone call from Joyce and asks Xander to drive him there. A lot of powerful moments here: Joyce' anger, Giles' guilt, Xander's helplessness. I especially love Xander's confession to Giles in the end.
3) Near Enna's Walls is a Deep Lake by
dipenates: Another missing scene, this one is from episode 6.19 "Seeing Red". Xander and Buffy talk on the floor of the bathroom. The Buffy/Xander fighting/making up scenes are the beauty of BtVS for me.
4) To Be A Man by
coalitiongirl: If only this scene happened on the show. If only the writers took Xander as seriously as
coalitiongirl and fandom do. A great missing scene in which Xander deals with the consequences of his actions.
5) Going Shopping by
stormwreath: When you're living in a secret base in Scotland with over a hundred Slayers, shopping trips take on a whole new meaning. Really fun Buffy, Xander and Willow missing scene in early S8. So much love for fun friendship fics.
