My Top Five 2005 WIPs I’m Dying to See Again

Non-LJ life affects us all. I always wonder where our fan fic writers find the time and creativity to write all the great stories they give us. Sometimes, for one reason or another, WIPs take a back seat. Personal life, medical reasons, family, the muse took a vacation, or even less than kind feedback can cause a WIP to put aside until another day. This post is not to criticize or beg for updates. It’s just a way for me to say to the writers: Take your time. We’re still here. And when you’re ready to write it again, we’re eagerly awaiting with support and adoration. We love your story.

And for the readers out there, these are still amazing and spellbinding stories even though they’re not finished yet. Read ‘em. Get hooked! And watch for the new chapters!




1) School’s Out by smittenkitten27 - AU RPS JM /DB - Jamie and Davey are high school buddies who discover their feelings run much deeper than friendship. Yet living in a small town and coming from different sides of the track, there’s no way this will be easy.

2) The Consort by beanbeans - Spike/female OC – Spike is a Master Vampire who takes a human female as his consort. Originally intended as simply a plaything for his amusement and command, Spike’s consort becomes the center of attention in Spike’s eyes and the center of concern in vampire society.

3) For the Love of My Brother by _sharvie_ - AU Human Spike/Xander - 29 year old Xander is a successful businessman but he also lives as a sexual sub to his stepbrother’s alter ego, Spike. When William discovers something from Xander’s past, will it tear their relationship apart or make it stronger?

4) His Pet by soulless_lover and pet_23 - Spike/Angel – Spike becomes Angel’s pawn in a plan to satisfy a debt. When Angel realizes the horrible deeds committed to Spike, he rushes to save the newly transformed little pet. But is it too late? And does he really want the old Spike back, or does he prefer the new kitty!spike?

5) Where Do We Go From Here by spankspike - Spike/OC Angel/Fred – It’s post NFA and the survivors are making their way in the world. What happened that night in the alley? And how did they get out alive? Or did they?

Hee -- it's hard not to beg sometime, especially depending on where the fic left off!

I wanted to ask though, I'm not getting the chapters for the first item. Is it just me or is something wrong with that memories header?
