On AtS, The Immortal was intentionally written as an empty vessel so that every fan could fill it with his/her own interpretation - and this is one of the most conceptual rewrites of both Jossverse and Whoverse. So during a visit to Rome Buffy meets Jack Harkness, AKA the Immortal - and they find out they have a lot in common.

Uh, thanks for the rec, but 'If I Could Turn Back Time' doesn't belong in this list as it is not a crossover. I mentioned the 'Terminator'-verse in the notes explaining how I was inspired to write the fic but that's all.

Well, you play with the mythology, and you reinvent the most famous line in the Terminator-verse, so I think it could count as a crossover. If you insist, I could remove it and put another fic in the list - but I still think it belongs here.

Oh the muse is very co-operative - I've got the whole thing all planned out in great detail. The problem is that, because it's so complex, I need to write it all out before I start posting, so... *throws hands up* I write other stuff that work as WIPs.

Also, everyone wants the MI sequel, and that one is manageable! :)

I was surprised and grateful to see my fic show up here (I lurk). Thanks so much!

I do plan to post the rest on LJ eventually (at least on spuffy fics, not too interested in doing the personal LJ fic thing again). I decided to wait and clean up "Epitaph Again" a bit before I post it around the Web and see glaring little punctuation errors in multiple places. I might post it sooner if the characters refuse to develop naturally on a reasonable time table.

Thanks again! I am truly touched to see readers giving my odd-ball fic a chance. Makes me wonder why I took so long to get back into the fandom!
