5 multi-chapter Spangel fics
Nov. 1st, 2009 11:23 pmHere are 5 long, multi-chapter Spangel fics to enjoy. Beware though; these are all so good that once you start reading, you won’t be able to stop until you finish them.
They will probably be familiar to people who have been in the fandom for a while, but since they are all older stories, those new to the fandom may have missed them. In fact I think that all but one of the authors has left the fandom now.
1. Title: You and I Collide
Author:
spikesfool
Rating: NC17
Link: http://www.athenewolfe.com/justrewards/viewstory.php?sid=1421
I love Spikesfool’s writing, and this is one of my favourites. Classic H/C with plot and hot sex.
2. Title: The Relevance of Spike
Author:
stakeaclaim
Rating: This does not have a rating listed but I would guess PG15
Link: http://lubakmetyk.infinology.net/others/stakeaclaim/ scroll down to the relevant chapters.
A lovely long, plotty story with lots of twists and turns.
3. Title: Days Of Our Unlives
Author: Donna and
kita0610
Rating: NC17
Link: http://ficbitch.com/daysofourunlives/chapters.html
This classic is absolutely hilarious, a must read.
4. Title: Parallels
Author: Jenny
Rating: NC17
Link: http://www.squashduck.com/ltd/parallelsfic/index.htm
Jenny has written so many great Spangel fics that it was hard to choose just one. I went with this one because of its unique plot line.
5. Title: Insectverse!
Author:
lynnenne
Rating: NC17
Link: http://lynnenne.livejournal.com/tag/insect%21verse
This is actually a series of four connected stories that starts with ‘Angels and Insects’. Lynnenne captures the complexity of the relationship between Spike and Angel perfectly, plus it has one of the most gorgeous Spangel sex scenes I have read (co-written with Kita0610).

Date: 2009-11-13 10:11 pm (UTC)It was only when I was putting this list together that I realised that Lynn's writing partner was one of the authors of DOOUL. I think that may have been the first slash story I ever read, and now I'm hooked. I was a lurker back, then but now I want to say THANK YOU for the hours of fun that your wonderful stories have given me.
