In this post, I've linked to what I think are great fics by these individual writers, and which I hope will spur people on to read more of their work, if they haven't already.

Before the Time of Dawn PG-13 Spike/Xander by [livejournal.com profile] shadowscast. A fun time-travel romp by my favourite Spander writer. Spike and Xander must go back in time. How will they explain a human Spike with a soul to season 3 Buffy and Angel?

Disenchantment by [livejournal.com profile] herself_nyc, Spike/Buffy NC17. The link takes you to the author's website. Just scroll down through her list of fics. I chose this one because I just love the strange, fairy-tale island out of time (literally) feeling of it, plus the fact that we get two such different versions of Spike.

Daemons Luminati by Kalima, Spike/Buffy, R. Again, the link leads to [livejournal.com profile] herself_nyc's website, where Kalima's fics are archived. This one is probably her most famous Buffyverse story, but everything she writes is wonderful.

Descent by Indri, Spike R. Unlike the other writers in this post, Indri is a gen writer. This fic describes Spike's descent into madness after getting his soul better than any other I've come across. Wonderful, wonderful writing.

Two-Part Harmony by [livejournal.com profile] missmurchison, Spike/Harmony NC17. Spike was absolutely rotten to Harmony, we all know, and like many other fanfic writers, I've long wanted to redress that fact in fanfic. However, after reading this, I knew I didn't need to, as [livejournal.com profile] missmurchison makes Spike say/do everything I would want him to say and do without it ever becoming preachy or OOC. Oh, and it's funny. Very, very funny.

Fab list, Deb. Disenchantment is one of my favorite Herself fics (second only to "Some Scenes in the Later Life of Two Heroes"), so it's great to see it make an appearance here. Kalima's fic has been on my to-read list for an age, so I suspect I'd better tuck into it soon.

After writing my crazy basement Spike for seasonal spuffy, I'm really interested in reading fics during that same time period. "Descent" seems to be just the thing I'm looking for. Thanks for sharing!
