October's here already! That means that it will soon be time for buffyversetop5's Classic Recs session, which will run from midnight October 29th (GMT) to midnight Nov. 1 (GMT).

That gives everyone a month to collect links to five (or more) of your favorite fan-created works from 2008 or earlier. The usual Top 5 to-do's apply, but you've got lots of years open to you. So let's hear from you over Halloween weekend!

I was looking at the dates and realized that the recs session doesn't include posting during the Sunday of Halloween weekend. Would it be possible to extend the session so that it includes the entire weekend, and ends midnight on November 2nd? I have a lot of rec lists I'd like to share, but know I'll be busy most of Saturday with Halloween festivities, and it gets tough to post during the week when I've got work.

Hey there! Thanks for asking about this. Actually the weekend closes at GMT time so it will run through the AM hours in the UK and through the early evening for the U.S. west coast. So it will be open on Sunday for everyone.
