I admit to shameless pillaging from my end of year review, but then why reinvent the wheel. There were a lot more than five gen fics that I loved this year, so this is just a cross-section of them.

Last Man Standing by thea_bromine finds a potential trainee watcher having a chat with the head of the Council. This is lovely, vivid storytelling and well worth a read.

Buffyversetop5's 10th Annual Session is Now Open

That's right, it's been ten years since buffyversetop5 opened for its first annual session! The 2015 session of Top 5 is now open for recs of any fan-created Buffyverse works either started or continued during the past year.
