Maren created such a complex and interesting world in this story, and the relationship shown is realistic, heartbreaking and beautiful.


2. If You Drive Me Back-carlyinrome
Buffy/Angel, PG-13, Post-NFA. Maybe you can start over.

This fic was just gorgeous, but I loved how it made me think about Buffy's decision at the end. It stayed with me after I read it.

3. The Wife of Lot-trixiefirecra. Post-GDII. Buffy/Angel. PG-13. A big sweeping exit, but then, a return.

Sometimes you have to look back. The voices are spot-on here, and there is a meeting between Buffy and Angel that I feel could have happened.

4. Safe as Houses- a2zmom
Buffy/Angel. NC-17 Set after Enemies.

So good and true to the characters. Extremely sexy, but heart-breaking.

5. Saved the World, But I Never Saved You-thenyxie
There are some things in life you never get over. This is one of them. Buffy/Angel, post-NFA. R. Written for the iwry_marathon.

Her scooby voices are perfect, and the ending is so wonderful.
