[identity profile] hesadevilspike.livejournal.com posting in [community profile] buffyversetop5

All featuring Spike and all a little wacky (bar one which is not wacky at all) but perfectly in character.

Rating: All are PG or PG13. Some swearing (how could there not be with Spike around?) and sexual encounters, particularly in the WIP.
Warnings None.

How do you eat yours? -[livejournal.com profile] calove

The Sorrowful Tale Of Miss Kitty Fantastico [livejournal.com profile] myfeetshowit

Driver's ED [livejournal.com profile] myfeetshowit
This was the very first drabble of Feetie's that I read.
Illyria in charge of a car? ::shudders::

Everything Stops for Tea [livejournal.com profile] speakr2customrs
Summary: a little scene between Spike and Giles. It could be taking place during “Life in Shadow”, or it could be on the show some time between mid Season 4 and the start of Season 5.</lj-cut? I'd like to say a big thank you to The Powers that set up and maintain the community. Long may we go on celebrating the wonders of BtVS and AtS. through the writers and artists of the fandom. May they Not Fade Away anytime soon.

Yep! Some other people made it easier to go this route by reccing [livejournal.com profile] frimfram's Far Side of the Tracks and Cass' Parliament Hill, so I was left with 4 wackies and a WIP.

Awww.. thanks for the rec, pet.

The others are fab - I'd missed myfeet's Illyria drabble. Hee! Great fun!

It was going to be 'On Parliament Hill' but someone beat me to it.

Feetie's drabble was the first one of hers that I read. I realised then that she had a unique style. And as for speakr - they broke the mould when they made him, he's a one-off original.

I love Miss Kitty. I met her while she was doing it. I was very upset with something in that story, which surprised me. Not to say don't read it, but I still haven't forgiven her, I don't think. *g*

I can forgive Feetie anything (Well almost anything. If she killed Spike off I might be forgiven for being slightly miffed, she crafts her fics so carefully.

The Sorrowful Tale Of Miss Kitty Fantastico

I remember seeing the title of this, somewhere, sometime back and thinking "I've got to try that out." Because what sort of Grinch doesn't love Miss Kitty? So I'm glad you recced it (along with the others because now I'll be able to come back and read it).

Glad to hear I jogged someone's memory. That's part of what this community was set up to facilitate methinks.

My gawd. Spike and a creme egg. I'm so very glad you showed me the way to that one.

Or sorry. Don't want that sort of fantasy thank you very much. No, not at all. Honest.

Cass is almost as evil as Spike. :gg:

Yay! Do you know I had on my Christmas Wishlist that might never get posted that I wanted a Spike & Giles comedy fic, and #5 looks exactly what I would be looking for. Excellent :)
What did you think the First Evil was doing after the closure of the Hellmouth? Knitting evil jumpers?
Yes, exactly!
Thanks very much for these - more fics I haven't read and wheee, I love your icon :)

Which one?
The reading and enjoying one. I've already said I love that one you're using in the reply quite a few times ;)
I did think of doing a 5 favourite Spike icons post but, after my mini sulk yesterday, I didn't have the nerve.
Ah well, there's plenty of time to post should you regain your nerve. Would love to see that though as you do have great taste in icons! :)

Thank you.

Trouble is, I made that reading and enjoying one myself. I'll have to have a root through the ones I didn't and rec. those.

Like this one.

Wow! I got two recs! *squeees!* Thank you!

I've got to find some time to root around and find links to some more of the stories I've enjoyed this year. I lost most of my links when my last 'puter bit the big one. I'm glad we've got some time left.

You should have had more, but we're limited to 5 :p. No doubt you'll appear on another of my lists soon. I'm planning a minority/neglected character one.

I'm trying to find links to 5 stories that I think are story. Your fic will be on that list - although, family was finished in 2004 wasn't it? I'll have to sneak that in as reference to being the first in the series.

I'll have to sneak that in as reference to being the first in the series.

Sneaky Not sneaky at all. One needs to read Family to make sense of the WIP.

I put up my wish list on the recent mods' post, asking for stories in various categories. Fingers crossed something will turn up as a result.
