Top 5 Classic Crossovers (I haven't seen recced here yet!)

1. Of Blood and Time by jinxed_wood (PG) - Crossover with Doctor Who - In this fic, set during "Human Nature," Drusilla runs into 'John Smith' and recognizes that he is not what he seems. It is rare to find a well-written Dru, since she's crazy but not stupid and evil but still sympathetic.

2. Head Full of Noise by jennyo (NC-17) - Crossover with Alias - Could there be a more seductive pairing than Lilah and Lauren? Here, we discover just where Lilah learned her lessons when it comes to power, sex, and mercy.

3. Sometimes Blessings by voleuse (R) - Crossover with Pirates of the Caribbean - This is an Illyria/Captain Jack Sparrow fic. Yes, you read that right. A pairing that just so totally should. not. work. And, yet, it does. Given Illyria's power to cross over time and dimension, it is canonically possible. Plus, great insights into Illyria's simultaneous contempt for and desire to understand humans.

4. Forbidden Fruit by bookishwench - Crossover with Harry Potter - A response to a prompt for Dru and Draco. (Draco does resemble a certain someone, doesn't he?)

5. Out of Joint by honorh (Teen) - Doctor Who/Firefly - This fic could easily be an episode of either show (barring copyright issues, of course), and honorh's dialogue is so in-character you can hear the actors say it.

These all sound fascinating. Illyria and Captain Jack really piques my interest.
