Top 5 fics

Haven't been around for more than a couple of months, so I'm not aware of enough fics to make a speciffic list. These are five that are spread all over the place, but all excellent in their own way.

1. "Some girls wander by mistake" by madame_meretrix
I don't know what to say here. Great journey where you discover what's going on as you go along. Excellent writing and spot on dialogue. Spike and Angel, mentionings of other characters.

2. "Good Girls Go To Heaven – Bad Girls Go Anywhere"(second one down) by beer_good_foamy & "Hell's Heart" by stormwreath
Faith dies, and the new situation doesn't sit too well with our little firecracker. Ok, so these are two fics, but they're not all that long, and very much connected. Very funny and original.

Warnings: violence, bad language, character death/damnation, blasphemy and heresy -- good times! *grin*

3. "Gemini" by only_passenger
Set during s3 of Buffy, Buffy/Faith. Very lyrical, bittersweet, and I really liked the premise.

4. "I'll have your Guts for Garlands" by ubiquirk
What happened in Prague to set the mob after them? Here's the answer, and I'm loving every twisted bit of it. A really great Dru here, dark and disturbing, as she should be. Spike/Drusilla

5. "Geronimo" by beer_good_foamy
Puts us into Faith's comatose dreams. Great writing, and very good and insightful take on faith's psyche.

Yeah, "Some girls wander by mistake" was truly an experience to read. So much, I actually read it twice on that first go. "I'll have your guts for garlands" is very descriptive, she really paints a bloody picture in it. I hope you check it out, only 750 words :) I actually just ran off and nominated both at the Fang Fetish Awards, I like them so much. hehe
