Why I chose this: Roll over Dickens, you've been outdone. This story is fun, it's thoughtful, and it's just right for Christmas.

Why I chose this: I believe this was the first of the genre known as tentacle fic. It's unusual and explores places you wouldn't believe. Or maybe you would!

Title: Sucker

Rating: NC-17
Why I chose this: It's the sequel to Succor, and you know you can't read just one!

Title: PET
Author: sexymermaid
Rating: NC-17.
Warning: Both the content and illustrations are NC-17.
Why I chose this: Another tentacle fic. Only for the adventuresome but well worth the adventure. Could Illyria learn to love Spike?

Title: Waiting for the Sun

Why I chose this: One of the things I love about this fandom is seeing the different ways in which the same theme can be treated. Another tentacle fic.

Well, a lot of people find Dickens overdone, and he didn't have either Spike or Illyria as characters, so I don't think I overstate my case at all.

Unfortunately, I think a lot of the writers that are falling away are those who write something different.

Your Cordelia was written with very little to go on. It's almost an original character, which is not easy to write, especially under the sort of gtime pressure you were working under last christmas.

Did I always have a tenticle fetish and I didn't know it or is it something that just sprang into being when I read PET?

This is crackfic if I ever read any and I enjoyed it all. Tenticles! It's crazy; everyone realizes that right? And I'm reading them and planning to look for more.
