This is the most terrifying, disturbing, gripping, amazing Pet!Xander fic I have ever read in a long time since Broken Revenge. There's so much violence here that I've never read in a fic before. If you can't handle extreme violence and tentacles, then this fic ain't for you. Oh, and while losing one's voice was cool in Hush, it's much, much heartbreaking here.
2- Beautiful Broken bylit_gal:
I know everyone must have read this fic, even some non-Spander fans. However, I could never not rec it as one of the most outstanding Slave!Xander fics out there.
3- Bargain Series by Katharina:
I love both Spike and Xander's characterization here, and I love how the points of view switch from Spike to Xander in each chapter. This one has Spike acting like a bastard and has Xander losing himself and snarking back. It used to be my bed time story for a whole year, each night reading one chapter, and then going back to read it from the beginning.
4- Xanpet by Siege
I'll never stop mentioning my all time favorite story, even though I guess it'll remain WIP forever. It at least stops at a good point. Set during S6, precisely the episode Normal Again during the scene Xander beats Spike up, Spike wishes Xander gets a taste of what it's like to be a Master Vampire's pet, because of Xander's bullying of Spike. Spike's wish comes true, and both Xander and Spike return back to the 19th century with Xander as Spike's personal pet. Spike gets to humiliate Xander for a bit before he begins to be attached to him. Xander gets to develop and grow into a stronger young man with a lot of patience, even though he still has his Xander thickhead. Told from Xander's point of view.
5- Elderly Pets byrngrdead:
Want a great deal of angst and sad? This would be the perfect choice. I'd rant about how wonderful this one is, but I'm sure you've heard it from many before.

Date: 2007-10-27 01:52 pm (UTC)Apparently so. I remember coming across this this early on in my Buffy fic reading. It got a few more installments along the way but, yeah, seems to be one of those stories that will only have a sort-of end. I tend to enjoy time travel stories so this one definitely drew me in.
