Just Rewards – An archive of truly outstanding stories. All stories are either winners at the Fang Fetish Awards or by an author who has won for more then three different stories. The archive allows all pairings and all types of fic, so there is a wonderful selection of reading divided by type of fic, pairing, or awards won. Forbidden Awards - An excellent awards site that you must pay attention to! Friend this journal because everytime it opens for nominations, it closes shortly after. With only 10 spots per category this fun awards site fills up quick! The best thing about this awards site? If you win you get judges comments back with your award. This site truly rocks!

Fandom of the Stars - This awards site is exclusively for the people who do great things in the community. Friend this community so you know when round two happens. I really enjoyed this community because there are always people who work tirelessly for the fandom and don’t receive any recognition. Have a fab friend, an outstanding beta, moderators for archives, awards, or a community that you think deserves recognition? This will be the place to go to when nominations are open again!

Writer Con UK This community was started in 2006 to organize convention/meetups and more! Friend this group to keep up to date on events and for wonderful fic and art-a-thons. Currently organizing a meet-up in the UK for August… come on you know you want to come and play!

Dark Xander Ficathon Master List Because this ficathon rocked! Anyone who knows me realizes that the request for a happy fluffy fic will end up with me writing something which has multiple character deaths and be truly dark. So is it any surprise that I adore a Dark Xander ficathon! I mean Xander and Dark … I am in love *sigh* so check out everyone’s offerings – you won’t regret it!

Thanks for the great list. I haven't noticed anyone do a post about award sites yet so this is very welcome.

It's great to know there are still people around willing to do the work that goes into making award sites. To me, that's one of the signs of a living fandom, and I'm glad to know ours is still hanging in there.

Oh, thank you so much, love! That is a lovely thing for you to say about us at Forbidden since you yourself run such an excellent site yourself. I know the work involved in these things and I agree with Deb that it is a sign of a healthy fandom if there are diverse and good award sites.

Your archive is wonderful and Fandom of Stars was nice in that it focused not so much on artwork or writing, but the contributions of friendship and support.

I'm glad we've gotten a post that singles out awards sites. As sexymermaid notes above, it's definite work to keep them going and running smoothly (not to mention advertised) so it's nice to see some recognition for them.

Just one thing -- we need to either put a Not Worksafe warning on the second one or switch the link to the profile view. Thanks!
