Top 5 Wow Fics!

1- Stalwart and True by blueanddollsome or you can find it in her LJ. CRIES!!!! I'm howling like… something that's howling. Oh, God! If only season 7 had this kind of emotion to it! The characters' voices are excellent. I love it.

2- Summer by hobgoblinn, which has 9 parts that can be found here. Set during the period between the "The Gift" and the start of Season Six, a beautifully written ensemble story that fits perfectly into canon.

3- Istanblue by yamsham: just the thought of old!Willow meeting old!Oz is so new and interesting and there's no clichés here at all.

4- A Soul in Epilepsy by alida_hush: Post-Him. I really loved the slow development in Xander's character and his acceptance of Spike. Something that should have happened on the show. Perfect Xander voice, loved the wit and the M*A*S*H watching.

5- Early One Morning by moscow_watcher: Lovely, shocking twists. This one will keep you excited until the end, wanting to know what the heck is going on, also showing the difference between Xander as a watcher and Giles as a watcher.

Obviously, it's my turn to say "wow"!

I never thought that my little fic written in foreign language and full of clumsy phrases no beta could fix may impress you that much! I'm really on cloud nine!

As to the other fics, I've only read A Soul in Epilepsy and I agree on "wow" factor. Alida Hush managed to express in three phrases why I love Spike so much. "... world with Spike was perhaps the most comforting Xander wanted to live in, he realized. It was the one that let heroes be born from villains and the soulless to fight for the right to bear one. For a brief flash of a moment, Xander realized that the world without Spike was basically a world without hope."

A Soul in Epilepsy was also wonderful. Xander, Spike and Buffy are wonderfully written, all voices are perfect.
